Some retailers have been operating under the belief that consumers are just looking for the cheapest item and will not buy a more upscale item. Look around now to see some of the retailers that are proving this is not the case. Consumers are picking up the new upscale items in large quantities and coming back for more. Keeping the selection fresh and up-to-date with new and interesting varieties is the key to bringing back customers for more. It is a little more work to plan but certainly worth the effort at the cash register.
